The energetic 2016 vintage of Samuele's Quarry Red Blend is 55% Barbera, 43% Zinfandel and 2% Petite Sirah.  The Barbera gives depth and softens the fruit of the Zinfandel.  The Petite Sirah adds additional texture and aging potential.  Almost 28 months of barrel aging has done its work on this wine. This brick-colored, rustic red wine has hints of black raspberries giving way to velvety chocolate and will complement any lively flavored food from filet mignon to Bolognese.  

At the first taste, you can feel the wine wanted to come out of the glass.  It's truly a mouthful of deliciousness!
